20/20 . . . A Clear Vision for Drug Awareness
Spreading Awareness.
LJARI is teaming up with schools across the nation to provide awareness to students about the dangers of vaping. Their new model shows the negative effects of vaping on the user's brain and lungs in an easy to comprehend model, demonstrating the damage and liquid build-up left behind in someone who avidly uses vaping devices.
Why is this important?
Vaping of marijuana on the rise among teens - National Institute on Drug Abuse
Vaporizers, E-Cigarettes, and other Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) - FDA
This picture shows our Educational Awareness setup. The top left touch-screen tablet enables the user to adjust the vape settings, which can mimic a number of different vaping devices, such as JUUL or Blu E-cigarettes.
The right touch-screen tablet is linked to drug educational materials provided by the National Institute of Drug Abuse at the National Institute of Health. The brain and lung apparatus approximate the size of the actual organs of an adult or young adult.
